SAP University Alliance Program

SAP TERP10 Academy and Certification Exam

TERP10 Academy is a highly intensive training focusing on the integration of 10 different business processes in SAP ERP. This Academy is taught by a certified SAP instructor and concludes with a certification exam on Day 10. Upon passing the exam, the student will be designated as an SAP Certified Business Associate with SAP ERP 6.0 S4/HANA, an SAP Associate level certification – the first of three levels of certification SAP professional may choose to pursue through their career.

Why participate?

  • Receive focused, specialized training in SAP ERP – state of the art software used by companies around the world.
  • Perform key business processes: understand integration points and key controls of SAP ERP.
  • Gain exposure to SAP NetWeaver technology platform, SAP Strategic Enterprise Management (SAP SEM), S/4 Hana, and SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW).
  • Increase your marketability to prospective employers.

Students are expected to attend classes every day all day. The class is typically scheduled from 9 am until 5 pm, but can vary. Typically each student must study at least 4 hours every night after class.

This class is not recommended unless the student is able to focus a considerable amount of time outside of the class for exam preparation.

Admission to the class is limited to UTD students that have completed either MIS6319 Introduction to ERP or ITSS4340 Introduction to ERP with at least a B grade. There are no exceptions. Work experience cannot substitute the above requirement. Admission to the academy is at the discretion of the instructor.

The regular cost for attending the Academy is $5,750. However, because UTD is a member of the SAP University Alliances, students currently pay $1,400 which includes tuition, participant handbook (850 pages), Instructor Training Cost, and the SAP exam fee. If you fail the exam you are on your own and must pay the cost of $500 to take the exam at a local SAP testing centre in your local living area and schedule it on your own. The fees are subject to change.

The passing rate for the TERP10 exam is approximately 60% worldwide. The rate for the UTD Academy has exceeded at least over 83% the every since 2009.

TERP10 academy runs during May, during the period between the Spring and Summer semesters. The registration for the academy occurs during February 1 – April 1 every year. Enrollment in a session is limited to 40 students and typically enrolment is closed within the first week of February.
